QUEM SOMOS / Who we are
Nascido no interior de Minas Gerais, desde criança tive o sonho de conhecer novos países. Primeiro conheci a Argentina e logo depois, como muitos brasileiros, conheci os Estados Unidos. Me encantei com tudo o que vi, o que me tornou um viajante frequente à este país. Criei amigos, fiz investimentos, comprando casa, carro e outros bens materiais, sem sair do Brasil. Infelizmente, muitas coisas no Brasil não caminhavam como eu esperava, o que aguçou ainda mais meu interesse em vivenciar outra cultura. Pesquisei muito durante mais de um ano e cheguei à conclusão que meu destino seria o Canadá. Sem conhecer o país, acompanhava relatos que diziam ser ainda melhor que os Estados Unidos. Meio discrente, fui me apaixonando à distância até chegar aqui, no dia 28 de dezembro de 2016. E se tem uma palavra que define o que sinto hoje é ENCANTADO.
ENCANTADO pela qualidade de vida, pelo respeito às pessoas, à natureza, às diferenças, enfim, o que aprendo diariamente não seria possível se o primeiro passo não fosse dado, que foi me inscrever no College para iniciar meu processo de obtenção do visto de estudo e trabalho. Hoje sou o representante para o Brasil do Queen's College e meu objetivo, muito além do financeiro é ajudar a criar uma comunidade brasileira cada vez mais expressiva na instituição educacional que me acolheu.
Born in the interior of Minas Gerais state, since I was a children I had a dream of knowing new countries. In the first moment I'd traveled to Argentina and soon afterwards, like many Brazilians, I'd traveled to the United States. I was enchanted by everything I saw, which conduct me to a lot of new travels to this country. I made friends, investments, bought house, car and material goods, without leaving Brazil. Unfortunately, many things in Brazil did not go as I expected, which further sharpened my interest in experiencing another culture. I did a lot of research for over one year and I came to the conclusion that my destination would be Canada. Without knowing the country, has accompanied reports that said that was even better than the United States. With some doubts, I was falling in love in the distance until arriving here, on December 28, 2016. And if you have a word that defines what I feel today is ENCHANTED.
ENCHANTED by the quality of life, respect for people, nature, differences, as well, what I learn daily would not be possible if the first step was not given, that was to enroll in the College to start my process of obtaining the Study Permit and Work Permit. Today I am the representative for Brazil of Queen's College and my goal, beyond financial is to help create an increasingly expressive Brazilian community in the educational institution that welcomed me.
